Have
you ever thought you'd like a meaningful ceremony
to mark a special event in your life?
Do you feel that conventional religious ceremonies
are not for you - but what's the alternative?
Would you like a ceremony that is more spiritually relevant
to you, your partner, family and friends?
Then consider creating your own ceremony
to mark important personal rites of passage,
with the help of experienced ceremonialist and
sacred dramatist Kathy
Jones
Kathy is a healer, teacher, writer and sacred dramatist who lives and works on
the Isle of Avalon.
She enjoys invoking divine energy to bless our human endeavours. Over the last
15 years she has conducted many ceremonies and written and created more than
twelve major sacred dramas performed in Glastonbury and elsewhere, honouring
the deities of many different cultures and lands. She is personally aligned to
the energies of the Goddess and the deities associated with the Isle of Avalon.
She creates meaningful rituals within the circle of Nature and the elements of
earth, water, fire, air and space. She calls into the circle the energies of
the four and eight directions and deities from the British spiritual tradition
including the pre-Keltic and Romano-British pantheons - Goddesses and Gods such
as Brigit, Brighde, Morgen, Ker, Rhiannon, Madron, Kernunnos, Bran, Mikael and
Merlin.
She is happy to work with you in invoking particular deities which you feel are
personally important which you would like to be present in your ceremony to bless
you and the commitments you are making.
Fees for creating and performing ceremonies are
negotiable and range from £50-£250.
Price depends on the type, complexity and length (from 20 minutes to
over an hour) of the ceremony, on the number of planning meetings,
the
provision of ceremonial
materials and objects and the number of ceremonialists needed. Additional
costs may include travel and accommodation expenses, room hire,
musician's fees, flowers,
etc, all settled by agreement beforehand.
